BoJack Horseman | Season One

BoJack Horseman is one of the more unique shows I have watched. As an adult cartoon it is already
different than most shows, but the concept is very unique. BoJack Horseman is set in a reality where both animals and humans co-exist in life. They have social relationships and intimate relationships, and it is weird to watch these interactions. The character development and characteristics are so well done in this show that you don't seem them as animals and humans, you just see them as characters. 

The plot of the first season revolves around our main character BoJack Horseman. He is former TV star from the 1990s who has not acclimated to life after his acting career ended. When we first meet BoJack he is in the middle of working on his memoir. He is having trouble writing it, so his agent/ex-girlfriend Princess Carolyn urges him to get a ghost writer. This is when he meets Diane Nguyen. He is immediately attracted to her, but is dating his TV rival Mr. Peanutbutter. BoJack also has a slacker live in named Todd. BoJack keeps him around because he is so lonely that he needs the company.
A little background on our main character of BoJack. BoJack Horseman is voiced by the hilarious Will Arnett. His sarcastic wit is perfect of the character of BoJack. The character of BoJack is complicated.While at most times BoJack is an asshole to everyone around him. His backstory allows you to feel sympathy towards him. He comes from a rough childhood, and was never really appreciated for most of it. BoJack still lives in his glory days when he was a star on television. BoJack exemplifies what the Hollywood has-been is. He is depressed, an alcoholic, and is lonely.


BoJack Horseman was a really interesting show to watch. First and foremost it is a comedy, but it has some real life issues that make you think. The sarcastic humor that is in the show is spot on and is well executed for an adult cartoon.

Future Man

I started the television Future Man a couple weeks ago. After watching the first episode I was not really impressed with it, and thought it was juvenile. I was going to review BoJack Horseman for this week's review, but then I finished watching Future Man. After watching the rest of the season I realized the brilliance of the show. The show is a homage to 80's sci-fi. The show consists of a lot of Terminator and Back to the Future references. A lot of the references really hit perfectly for the show, and a lot of what it accomplishes is because of this.  Josh Futturman is a loser janitor and spends most of his time playing the video game Biotic Wars. After Josh beats the game the main characters of the game Tiger and Wolf enter his room. They are from the future and our asking for his help in fixing the apocalyptic future. F Is For Family | Season One

Background:  F Is For Family is different than most of your family shows. The show really lets loose in what it can get away with as a cartoon. It gets as explicit as possible for any show out there. F Is For Family is also very relatable and I think that is why this show is so good. The Plot: F Is For Family takes place in the mid-1970s, and shows the prototypical family of the time. The revo lves around the Murphy family. They are a middle class family that has the problems of every family. It focuses on many of the problems facing a family in the 1970s. The Characters: The patriarch of the family is Frank Murphy. Frank is a hot tempered man who hates his life. He is profane and never knows when to shut his mouth. Frank is a manager at the local airport, and he is trying to avoid a strike by the workers there.
